WHAT IS SPIRITAL HEALING?

The word ‘Spiritual’ refers to the Divine nature of the energy channeled in healing, which healers agree, comes from one Source whether you call this source God, Universal Energy, Cosmic energy, or The Great Spirit. A Spiritual Healer acts as a channel for this healing energy, directing it to the client through their hands (and in some cases their entire body), the healing does not come from the healer, but through them. In other words Spiritual Healing comes “From Spirit’ (God) through Spirit (Healer) to Spirit (Client)”.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A HEALING SESSION?

The healer will use their hands to direct healing energy to the client, a few inches above the body Clearing blockages within the clients energy field (aura) There is no need to touch the client,however in some cases it may be necessary to do so, in such cases the healer will ask the client for  their permission before they proceed. Clients remain fully clothed at all times and are covered with a warm blanket to aid relaxation.

IS IT NECESSARY TO HAVE FAITH?

No. Nothing special is asked of the patient except maybe an openness to what they experience and a degree of trust in the healer. An awareness of the need for change and the motivation to do so can also be helpful. 

WHAT IS SPIRITUAL HEALING HELPFUL FOR?

Spiritual Healing is a non-invasive therapy and therefore a perfectly safe treatment for ALL conditions. There is no known condition that has not at some time responded to Spiritual Healing in a positive way. This energy seems to have an intelligence of its own flowing where it is needed in the client and creating the healing conditions necessary for that individuals needs. It cannot be guided by the mind, therefore it is not limited by the experience or ability of the practitioner. Nether can it be misused as it always creates a healing effect.Most people are under the impression that there needs to be something ‘wrong’ to attend healing and are unaware that healing is also a wonderful therapy to aid balance and peace of mind at any time.

WILL IT CURE ME?

Reputable Healers do not promise a cure and do not diagnose. They merely act as a channel for Divine healing energy, and provide space for healing to take place. At Tullywood Lodge ALL healers follow a strict code of conduct and are fully trained in their field. Please beware of any healer claiming to cure.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

Sometimes one treatment is enough, but more often than not beneficial results appear gradually and can also depend on how long the client has been experiencing their condition. Some clients respond rapidly where others require more treatments. Most will feel some benefit from their first healing session even if it is only to feel more relaxed about everything as they experience a beneficial change in their attitudes to life and emotions. Remembering that healing begins with the spirit and then works through the mind & body bringing what is necessary for the client at the time. Sometimes in the case of terminal illness healing can be of enormous benefit in bringing comfort and serenity to the client , helping them to adjust to their situation and providing space for the client to express their anxieties or concerns which they may be unwilling to share with close family members.

CAN SPIRITUAL HEALING DO ANY HARM?

Definitely not. Spiritual Healing has the immeasurable advantage of not having any harmful side effects. Healing is complementary to orthodox treatment, and healers will always insist that patients consider this as such and remain under medical supervision    

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? 

 As most healers will tell you there is NO charge for healing. However like anyone else in the workplace healers need to cover expenses of travel, room hire, heating etc and their time. For this reason there is a fee placed on healing and can range in price from healer to healer. Once again it must be stated this fee is not for the healing itself and should not be used as a gauge to how good the healer is .i.e.: the more I pay the better the healer. At Tullywood Lodge the cost of heaing is €50 per hour €30 per half hour….. Donations are also accepted in cases where clients cannot afford to pay full costs
